care home or home care business

Running a successful registered care home or home care business can be deeply rewarding but also incredibly stressful. Despite both services providing essential care, their operations are vastly different.

We started our first care home in 2012 and opened the next one less than a year later in 2013. When I began the home care service that year, I had high hopes but quickly realised the challenges and differences in running such a service. Let me help you navigate these challenges with empathy and expertise.

About Me

Brenda Queeley

Who is Brenda: I am a natural teacher and motivator, and I truly believe that we all have the ability to achieve our dreams with the right mindset, resources, and support. I am passionate about creating safe spaces where people can express their ideas without fear of judgment.

My empathy, often seen as a weakness by others, is my greatest strength. Through my 28 years as a mental health nurse and my experience building a multi-million-pound social care business, I’ve learned that the goal isn’t independence but interdependence—knowing when and how to seek help and offering help to others.

I’ve seen firsthand how a helping hand, someone who believes in you and expertly guides you through your journey, can transform your life. It’s about rediscovering your confidence, reigniting your self-belief, and driving towards ultimate success. This is the essence of my mission: to be that skilled mentor and steadfast support, providing the expertise and encouragement needed to unlock your true potential and achieve the dreams you once thought impossible.
